Terms of Use
Version 2026-10
This translation is provided for information only. The French version is the only legally binding text.
Draft document, to be completed and approved by the publisher before the public opening. Passages marked “To be completed” are not final yet.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of Stratilead, a web-based business simulation game played in class or solo: creating and running sessions, taking part in a game, creating and sharing scenarios.
2. Access to the service and accounts
- Players can take part in a game without an account, using the game code and a nickname.
- An account is required to create sessions, classes and scenarios. Sign-in uses a Google or Microsoft account.
- Account registration is limited to people aged at least 15. The service is intended for higher education and adult training.
- Users accept the version of the terms in force when they register, then at each update.
3. Facilitators, players, creators
The facilitator creates and runs their sessions; they are responsible for how the sessions unfold and for the instructions given to participants. The player makes the decisions for their company, alone or in a team. The creator publishes scenarios under their own responsibility and under the license of their choice.
Respective responsibilities of the publisher, institutions and facilitators.
4. Rules of use
- Choose appropriate nicknames and company names; do not impersonate anyone.
- Do not enter third parties’ personal data in names, messages or scenarios.
- Do not disrupt a session or attempt to bypass the platform’s protections.
Nicknames and names that break these rules may be rejected or changed; the facilitator can remove a participant from their session.
5. Published scenarios and content
Scenarios published in the catalog are reviewed by moderators. Any content can be reported at any time; content that breaches these terms may be removed. Reviews are reserved for facilitators who have played the scenario in a session.
License granted to the publisher on published content, takedown and appeal procedure.
6. Free access and changes to the service
The service is free during the launch phase. Paid offers (institution licenses, paid scenarios) may be introduced; their terms will be published before they take effect.
7. Availability and liability
Availability commitments, maintenance, limitation of liability, educational nature of the results (a simulation is not management advice).
8. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
9. Changes to the terms
Each version of the terms carries a version date. When they change, the new version is presented to users, who must accept it to keep using their account.
10. Governing law
Governing law, competent jurisdiction, mediation.
